The Business Savvy Singer, a community built by Dr. Greta Pope to empower singers of all levels and backgrounds, whether pursuing music as a hobby or a full-time career. After years of experience as a professional singer, vocal coach, and career coach, Dr. Pope recognized a significant gap in the music industry—many singers were passionate about their craft but lacked the resources and understanding of the business side of things. She saw a need for a space where singers could come together, share knowledge, and grow in both their art and their careers.

Through The Business Savvy Singer, Dr. Pope provides a supportive, inclusive community for singers to learn, connect, and thrive. Whether you're just starting out, looking to take your hobby to the next level, or aiming to build a sustainable career in music, you’ll find valuable insights and tools to help you get there. The goal is simple: to make sure that singers, no matter where they are on their journey, have access to the resources and knowledge they need to succeed.

As the founder of PrivateMusicStudio.net and the author of Music, Money & You; Managing the Business, Dr. Pope has dedicated her life to the education and success of both professional and avocational singers. Through her work with singers in her private studio and through The Kay Davis Scholarship, she is committed to providing opportunities for underserved communities, helping talented individuals study singing and music business, and creating pathways for upward mobility.

In addition to working with singers individually, Dr. Pope shares her wealth of knowledge through The Business Savvy Singer Podcast. Each week, Dr. Pope interviews professional singers from a variety of genres—Country, Pop, Jazz, Classical, Broadway, R&B, Blues, and beyond.
